b r i e f : Join is a live dialogue between two walkers, and a mapper. Audience participators take a mobile phone and GPS with our 'Landlines' software out for a walk in the city of Nottingham. A member of Satellite Bureau is in Canada waiting for a live route to be transmitted; they then attempt to follow the Nottingham route in their own city. Both routes are then projected live in the Trampoline space where they are drawn, as they happen, indelibly on the wall. Throughout the evening walks are shared across the Atlantic, and with the mapper. A sense of virtual place is performed, and a connection made, and a map of shared places emerges.
