brief: Outskirts takes advantage of the fact that in Regina, you can see the city from a- far. It replicates and comments on the outer growth of the city by adding on plates, or 'leaves' to an over expanded dining room table. The plates threaten to take the whole table down, and to a certain extent have already rendered it useless. Two large format colour photographs of an empty construction site dress the wall of the gallery. The images are of the 'army' of houses that stand at atention at the boundary of the city limits. Progress marches onwards.
